George McKelvey Co, Inc. is an independent, full-service investment firm
that was founded in 1960. We provide financial consulting and
investment management services to individuals and their families by
custom designing and managing investment strategies uniquely tailored
to each individual’s specific, personal financial situation. We are
responsible for approximately $450 million in assets.

We are a mid-size firm with nine advisors (including three managing
partners) who have been with the firm an average of 14 years.

Unlike most firms, George McKelvey Company considers its advisory
clients as clients of the firm and not of any one individual advisor.
Consequently, each account has two advisors: a managing partner and
a specialty advisor particularly suited to that account. This permits our
clients to take advantage of the unique but complementary strengths of
both advisors. It also assures continuity for our clients as their
investment objectives change over the course of time.

We are not day traders or momentum-style investors. We do not accept
margin accounts and we do not work with the more speculative types of
investments such as options, puts and calls, commodity contracts, etc.

For the most part, our clients, whether they reside nationally or
internationally, have come to us by referral. Personal and customized
service is our hallmark.
