George McKelvey Co. is committed to helping to create positive change in our world. Throughout the year, our firm and our staff
support a wide variety of local, national and international organizations through volunteer service, board service and financial
support.
Additionally, at year end, George McKelvey Co. selects a number of programs or organizations dedicated to improving society or
the environment to support financially. These groups may range from a small local program to a large international organization.
We include this information in the holiday card we send to our clients and, judging by the responses from our clients, these efforts
are appreciated.
For its 2011 annual gifting, George McKelvey Co. made donations to Finding Common Ground (a center for grieving children and
their families), WhyHunger (a national organization that supports local grassroots efforts to end hunger) and Second Life Bikes (a
youth-focused community center in Asbury Park, NJ).
The staff at George McKelvey Co. chose this year to contribute to the Toys for Tots Program and to a local family in need of costly
medical assistance. A contribution was also made to The Spring Lake Community House and its commitment to the arts.
